There is no rule specifying how long it should take for an email to arrive at its destination. The path an email takes to reach its destination starts from your computer to a local smtp (simple mail transfer protocol) server which will direct the message to its destination. It may pass the message to one or more relay computer until it reaches the destination mail server computer. The destination computer stores the email until it is retrieved by the user. This process can take a minute or much less, no matter where in the world it is going. However, If there is a lot of internet traffic or a lot of email traffic at any single point, it can take much longer. And, if the intended recipient decides not to use a mail reading program to look at the email, it can take even longer :)
it usually takes about 2 - 3 minutes for a person who lives in the same state to receive an email, however, it usually takes 2 - 3 minutes LONGER to receive an email from another state.
Well, It takes less than a minute to arrive but if your computer has a problem or the other persons computer has a problem then in that case it will take a whole minute
It depends on what is in the email. If an email has any attachments or has a lot of designs or text it can take a few minutes to get to the other person. A normal sized email can take a few seconds to get to the other person.
the answer is i think aproximately 4 to 5 hours because it does take time to deliver
Much less than is second. It takes a lot of time to check emails for viruses, spyware and so on. That's why you have to wait before you will get access to your new mail.
about an hour
about an hour from my past experiences

You won't receive it. They are scammers, believe me I found out the hard way...
Via dogsled, it would take about a month or more, but e-mail travels at the speed of light.

Yes When you send an email, ยท When it will arrive at its destination. ยท When the recipient will get round to reading it. ยท When the recipient will start to reply to it. ยท How long they will take to write and send their reply, ยท How long that reply will take back to you. Five unknown times, each of which suffices to make it non real time
