Whole chicken, 3 pounds: about 24 hours, or 1 day
Whole chicken, 5-6 pounds: about 2 days
Whole chicken, cut up: about 24 hours, or 1 day
Split chicken breasts, or other pieces laid out side by side: about 24 hours, or 1 day
