I know that my stomach can't digest brown rice. It always makes me have awful cramps and the most recent time I had vomiting and diarrhea for 12 hours.

Probably 60-90 mintues - no longer than the average starch. It would digest faster without the gluten but because of the more complex structure of brown rice (rather than white) it probably takes longer... Assuming you aren't eating the rice with meat or other food that retards the process.

Fibers make your digestive system work harder and even though the fibers as such do not contain nutrition to humans, they do help to condition our stomach and intestines. Same thing happened to me. The strange thing is that I have been eating uncle bens wild and brown rice for weeks now and no problem. But I ate organic brown rice today for the first time and have experienced unimaginable pain in my stomach.

White rice by itself is not bad, but actually good for you since it provides carbohydrates which are considerably easy to digest. But, when you take white rice in excess, since it is a starchy form of carbohydrate, it tends to accumulate weight and you could develop a large stomach!
