Barack Obama has been a communist since at least his teenage years in Hawaii. In his autobiography, Obama states that he was mentored by Frank Davis, who was a member of the Communist Party USA. During his years at Occidental College and Columbia he frequently attended Marxist rallies, possibly with the noted terrorist and communist, Bill Ayers.
Also of note, he was a friend of Edward Said, who was the president of Columbia's Communist Party.
