Examples of the part of the Preamble of the United States Constitution that would be titled "Secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and to our Posterity" in the world today are: People are given the right to a fair trial. People also have the right to do as they wish within the boundaries of their rights as long as it does not infringe upon the rights of another person. An example in history is that of the Civil War, the war about the freedom of slaves. The Civil War was a fight for the Liberty (Rights) of African-American people that had been slaves at the time. The fight for Liberty succeeded, and therefor can be considered a successful example of securing liberty.
