I find that Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are excellent replacements for Internet Explorer. I'm not sure how you can get Firefox, but Chrome can be obtained at the google search page for free.
You must download the web browser from Mozilla's official page, install it and run the .exe file. The use is pretty much same as any other web browser.
To get the little sidebar, first decide if the sidebar is for the desktop or for a browser such as Firefox. If for Firefox, visit the add-on website on the Mozilla page and browse through the selection of sidebars available. Click on the add-on and begin the installation process. A restart of the browser will probably be needed.
A lot, it would be impossible to list everything on this page, you will have to go the the Firefox Mozilla website and browse their files. They have plenty of documentation files. refer to link below for Firefox
Performance for a Web Browser is usually considered in relation to its average Page Load Time and its average CPU Usage. Internet Explorer's, Mozilla Firefox's and Google Chrome's statistics are as follows:Page Load TimeInternet Explorer - 4 secondsMozilla Firefox - 1.34 secondsGoogle Chrome - 1.45 secondsCPU UsageInternet Explorer - 18.1%Mozilla Firefox - 7.6%Google Chrome - 3%Overall then, Mozilla Firefox is a fraction of a second faster than Google Chrome, but uses over twice the CPU. I would recommend going for Google Chrome.
I would recommend installing the newest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or the Opera web browser. Doing a simple Google search is enough to take you to their homepage where you can download the browser and install it.
A home page is a page which a web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox...etc) goes to when it starts up. Many people have their home page as Google, and they can be directed to Google when you start the web browser or when you click the Home button (some modern browsers may not have a home button).
A web browser is a program on you computer like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox A web page is what you use the browser to view like Google, Youtube, facebook or answers.com
A home page for a website is the very first page - the landing page. So, for example, Google's home page is google.com, and the home page for this site is answers.com. A home page for a browser is the page you choose to load first when you open the browser - it can be anything you want it to be. For example, my browser of choice is FireFox. FireFox by default has it's home page set to mozilla.com, so every time I open FireFox it opens on mozilla.com. If I want to, I can change this to open google.com when FireFox opens. You can find out how to change your browser's home page by visiting your favorite browser's website and looking up the instructions.
Using a web browser, you can easily view a HTML page you have made, or somebody else have made, such as... * Mozilla Firefox * Internet Explorer * Google Chrome * Opera * Netscape
