It depends on your body... are you not bleeding at all, or you wont stop? I have had both, not bleeding at all is usually caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome which is very common in women. Not stopping could just mean that your body needs a regulator such as Birth Control pills... If you are young and just started having a period, give it some time to regulate to you. =)
