Meats are generally considered safe to store for up to one year in a freezer as long as they were fresh upon freezing.
Well it seems to be some confusion here. I am trying to sell my very large freezer, but you keep asking me for the answer. The question is Who wants to buy a large freezer? okay!!
yes as long as you put it in a tight container with ginger beer
As long as the pork is cooked, it would be okay for ferrets, avoid highly processed meats like sausage
Meats do not last long in the refrigerator. Only about 3 to 4 days if it is raw. Then 1 to 2 days longer if cooked and placed in an airtight container. You should always cover meats when stored in the fridge.
It is not okay to use frozen pumpkin that has been in the freezer since 2001. That would make the pumpkin 13 years old. Pumpkin will last in the freezer for about one year.
Because of the possibility of leakage, it's best to place a freezer on a a floor which is free from carpet.
yes. but cook it first. then eat it.
Yes, meat can go bad in a freezer that is down. Meat going bad in a freezer that is down depends on how long the freezer is down, how full the freezer is and other factors. If the freezer is down, keep the door closed as much as possible in order to keep the cold inside. If the freezer temperature does not rise above 40 degrees F.for more than a couple of days, the meat should be okay to eat or refreeze; however, it should always be checked for color, odor, etc. any time the freezer has not been on for any length of time. If the time span for the freezer being off is longer than a couple of days or the temperature rises above 40 degrees F, the food should be checked closer. Whenever a freezer goes down, especially for an extended length of time, the meat should be checked and any that is questionable should be discarded. For more information, see the Related Link.
You keep the ashes for as long as they are on your forehead do not wipe them away because that is considered sacrilegious. But if you accidentally wipe it off it is okay.
It could be, if it has been kept in the coldest part of the refrigerator. Give it the sniff test. If it no longer smells like fresh chicken or smells of ammonia, vinegar or yeast or feels slimy or sticky, don't use it.
I don't know but I worked for this lady who was 83 and I would take her shopping for her groceries. She always bought red meat, steaks or ground beef or liver, even chicken or whatever. She and I would go to eat and she wanted to go pay her bills. We went to thrift stores. I remember her groceries being in the car for two hours and I asked her why she didn't seem concerned about leaving her groceries that long without refrigerating them., She always said, "They'll be okay." It really did concern me but I knew she knew what she was doing, she was very sharp. Anyway she always was okay and she said two hours was the limit to leave them without refrigeration. So go figure about your chest freezer. Personally I would not leave them for more than an hour. But you can Google it and get your answer on the care of fresh meats.
As far as I know, most smoked meats can be frozen.
