I don't know for sure. But a lot of eye doctors say 2 hours before going blind permanently. But don't look at it for 1 hour because it can cause cataracts.

How Long Does It Take for the Eye to Heal After Laser Surgery for Retinal Tear?

Retinal tears are delicate and potentially sight-threatening conditions that require prompt medical attention. Laser surgery is a standard treatment method to repair retinal tears and prevent further complications. After undergoing laser surgery for a retinal tear, patients often wonder about the healing process and how long it will take for their eyes to recover. The healing duration can vary from person to person and depends on various factors, including the extent of the retinal tear, the individual's overall health, and the specific characteristics of their eyes. While each case is unique, understanding the general timeline and stages of healing can provide insight into what to expect after laser surgery for a retinal tear.

What causes patterns of light in your eyes?

the FAIRIES! the FAIRIES! > > > > >>>>> Yeah, maybe if you're tripping but in all seriousness, flashing lights or sparkleberries, or stars or whatever you want to call them, could be a sign of vitreous or retinal detachment. You should go see an ophthalmologist as soon as you can so they can monitor the situation. If it's vitreous, that means you are at risk for a retinal tear or detachment. When THAT happens, you will notice a "dark curtain" coming over your vision. Don't panic, I see this all the time @ the clinic I work for and it is treatable. You won't go blind as long as you get medical attention soon. Hope this helps!

Does the 82nd airborne division have a special forces detachment?

No. There are Special Forces personnel stationed at Fort Bragg (as well as SFOD-D), but they're not part of the 82nd. The closest thing line divisions would have to such a detachment would be the LRS-D (Long Range Surveillance Detachment), although their function is a bit different from those of actual special operations units.
