How long should you wait after a miscarriage to start trying again to have a baby if I was only about 4 weeks pregnant when I miscarried?

Hi, congrats if you are pregnant again. My mum miscarried and then caught with me in the same month and I'm here, so I think there is a very good chance of carrying the baby to full term. Good luck

∙ 14y agoIt takes about 2 months for the hormones to settle so wait about 4 months. Almost a third of all pregnancies ends in miscarriage so if you wait you will give it a better chance.

My dr. told me you can start trying to conceive right away after a miscarriage as you are most fertile then. The problem they (the dr.'s) have with it is that it may be hard to determine how far along you would be in your new pregnancy. But it could just be a more heavier period, (stress can cause that)
