Yes you could get severe headache and running nose post cauterized.
just like on the winter your nose dries out and the skin breaks some people with srever cases get it cauterized
NO! Unless there was trauma to it , a bloody nose that often is not normal. Best to consult with an ear, nose, and throat doctor. It is probably a vein that can be cauterized. See the doctor to be sure.
not really they usually just makes your eyes run :| when i had it done it was in front of a hot nurse so i felt like an idiot but no its just a quick sting pain and then your eyes run as most hospitals use a magnesium strip :) hope this helps -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had my nose cauterized not too long ago, the doctor used silver nitrate, and used anosetic on the inside of my nose, he just sticks like a long match looking thing up there, and then pulled it out and said its done. Its less painfull than a summer breeze! Although about 5 mins after the procedure it makes your nose run and makes you want to sneeze.
They usually cauterize the inside of the nose, far away from any of the normal piercing spots, so it should be fine, but if you knock it around a lot it may cause more damage
Injudicious cauterization of both sides of the septum causes a perforated septum when death of nose tissue occurs.
The causes of a perforated septum are wearing ornaments in the nose; sniffing cocaine; having the septum cauterized; rhinoplasty; diseases; toxic vapors.
Because you exhale more air through your mouth which is more appropriate for an increased level of exercise.
It is normal to experience a temporary smell after cauterization, as it can sometimes cause a burning odor. This is typically due to the tissue being sealed using heat during the procedure. If you are concerned or if the smell persists, it is best to consult with your healthcare provider for further evaluation.
When you get your nose cauterized it does not hurt because the doctor puts a numbing thing in your nose on a cotton ball, After its done it took me about an hour to get my feeling back (the numbing stuff ran down my throat so it numbed my throat) and then I got a runny nose, then a blocked nose, runny nose, blocked nose, it keeps changing. People say " don't blow your nose for a week after it", but I got it done yesterday and I'm blowing my nose hard and nothing bad happened.
In reality you really should breathe using both your nose and mouth. Swimming is an aerobic exercise, and therefore requires your body to grab as much oxygen as you can in order to perform well.
