This is not recommended for DIY because of a hard to reach location of mounting bolts.
On my third time it took me 2 1/2 hours to remove it, re-solder bad contact and to install it back. On first attempt it took me 6 hours and I had bruises all over my hands.
Save yourself a trouble and let mechanic do it.

Removal:
Disconnect negative battery cable.
Remove the upper two bolts from the intake manifold bracket.
Raise vehicle and support.
Remove the two bolts on the clutch release cylinder and push aside (M/T).
Remove the lower two intake manifold bracket bolts.
Remove intake manifold bracket.
Remove the two upper starter bolts. (These are hard to reach and in a tight spot).
Remove the lower starter bolt.
Pull the starter from the clutch (M/T) / torque converter (A/T) housing and prop in place.
Lower the vehicle.
From above, disconnect the S-terminal connector.
Remove nut and lock washer on B-terminal.
Disconnect B-terminal.
Raise and support vehicle.
Push transmission wire harness aside.
Remove starter.
