Young pandas live with their mothers until they are 18 months to two years old.
5months
Their mother will suckle them until they are weaned and able to eat bamboo leaves.
Baby panda cubs stay with their until they are about two years old, at which point the mother panda gets pregnant again. Panda cubs do not stay with their fathers because male pandas are ruthless and would kill a young cub to be able to mate with its mother.
Pandas will stay with the mother until they are 12-18 months old and then go out on their own.
they dont
The mothers do,but not for long. They leave their baby to care for itself
They bring them along with them. Sometimes,if the mother has twins, someone comes, takes one panda baby and takes care of it. Then they switch and take the other baby so both can live. The mother doesn't seem to mind. Since pandas are endangered, it helps to save two instead of just one.
Usually panda cubs leave their mothers after a few years. The mother will push her cub away if she becomes pregnant.
Pandas develop slowly. They get their fur within the first month of life, but are unable to walk until after they are two months old. At four months old, they can walk slightly, and at two years old will leave their mother.
They drink their mother's milk until they are about 6 months to a year, then they are weaned from their mother's milk and taught how to catch small prey and eat bamboo, just like their parents.
Pandas are a mystery of nature. If whales are the answer, then pandas are the question. What is a giant panda a/k/a "panda"?A panda is someone who eats, shoots, and leaves. And occasionally makes you laugh.Aren't pandas inefficient, piebald buffoons who are an evolutionary dead end?Yes. That is why there are fewer than 3000 (fewer than1600?) in the world. Then how are pandas not extinct yet?Pandas are beloved, because they are ridiculously, scientifically cute. They aren't just adorable freaky bears that bark in the bamboo forest. Their entire evolutionary strategy (by intelligent design!) was to sit on their thumbsand wait around until there were humans to love them andbe responsible for them despite all of their inefficiencies and mysteries. So how do pandas live their whole lives?royrod: "You know how sometimes you walk into a room and go... now why did I come in here? That's how [pandas] live their whole lives."Seriously, what do pandas do all day?Pandas spend 16+ hours a day foraging for food, eating, and crapping. Much like CEOs.
There are a total of 33 giant panda bears. Nineteen of them lived within the Untied States. Records of these panda started in 1933 until the present.
