you do not have to use alcoholic beverage to make bread pudding. I never do.
A very popular drink made with liqueur (there are many of them) is the Brandy Alexander, which uses Creme de Menthe. The Alexander is a good "dessert" drink - it should never be drunk beforea meal.
A passion that will never end, die, or be extinguished.
I am on the same quest... in search of the Original Godiva Liqueur. I called DIAGEO Company (Division of Seagram's) today at 1-800-767-3123 and discovered that they discontinued manufacturing the original classic Godiva Liqueur when they launched all those silly new flavors of Godiva Liqueur in 2009. I promptly registered my complaint and that I was desirous to purchase the Original Godiva Liqueur, and would NEVER purchase any of these other flavors, and would also not be MISLEAD in purchasing the "new" product, "Godiva Chocolate Liqueur," (which is a milk-based liqueur) again. Hopefully if enough voices are heard by the bean counters... they will reconsider their marketing approach.
