The C train runs up and down Central Park West, so any of these stops -- 59th, 72nd, 81st, 86th, 96th, 103rd -- will drop you off right across the street from the park.The A train also runs up and down Central Park West, but it is an express train. It stops at 59th Street and then 125th Street. Remember, the north end of the park is at 110th Street. So if you take the A train, you must get off at the south end of the park (or, transfer at 59th Street for the Uptown C or B trains).The B and D trains also run up and down Central Park West, but they do not stop at Penn Station.
