180 decibels is the most often quoted figure. It really does have to be experienced, it's impossible to describe in a meaningful way how intense and dramatic it is in person. Just beyond anything you could expect.
My fuel pump is very loud. I'm told it is aftermarket but it is fine.
The fuel in the cylinders exploding
A loud fuel pump
would not be noticeable on your fuel consumption a few dollars a week.
It is on the inboard top of the fuel tank.It is on the inboard top of the fuel tank.
sending unit makes loud humming noise from fuel tank
If it is loud (louder than other GM cars of the same era with fuel injection) I'd suggest you get it replace BEFORE you are stranded. Running out of fuel damages the fuel pump. They all do make some noise, but the noise is not "loud" Sometimes the baffels in the tank break and pieces of the baffels lodge in the fuel pump.
Another word for cry out loud is screaming, yelling on the top of your lungs and blurting something out.
It could be the fuel pump, if its when you first start the car up
It means either the fuel filter is clogged or the pump is about to fail.
i like it loud..... i wanna scream at the top of lungs i wanna shout..... turn it up turn it up turn it up... loud.........
NOT A 100% SURE, BUT IT MAY BE ON TOP OF THE FUEL TANK. The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank, and is removed from the top.
