I know in 1980, there were 1264 Turbo Formulas produced. Since the sales of Firebirds dropped in 1981, I would think it would have to be less.
1,840 produced in 1981
I owned a '81 Turbo Formula and the best information I could glean from PHS was that 10% of Trans Ams were Turbos in '80 & '81, and if you translate that 10% to the Formula production, there were most likely less than 1000 Turbo Formulas produced. Mine came off the assembly line on 5/21/81, possibly one of the last Turbo Formulas assembled at the Van Nuys Plant. It was special ordered Dark Metallic Brown from California, with no T-Tops and no Z50 appearance package (FOAMULA sticker on the bottom). It was a very rare car that I sold last summer for $4500 just to get rid of it - it ran, was solid, no rust or rot. I sold it to a collector/restorer in Northern Massachusetts. Keep your eye out for it - it also had the special order velour interior that never survived.

Porsche produced 612 993 turbo's for the 1997 model year. I believe 11 of them were finished in speed yellow.

A turbo encabulator is a fictional machine and is a humorous joke between engineers. Since it is a fictional machine, it is unknown how many novertunions are in the turbo encabulator.
Power Rangers Turbo has one season.
I have a pair of 1980 280zx's 1 is stock 1 has a 60mm throttle body and I get average 29 mpg and 27 mpg the 1981 is the same L28 engine so should be about the same unless its a Turbo then I dont know and 1981 is the first year of the Turbo option Arturo Checking my mpg many times for several years on my 1981 280ZX, I averaged 23.7 MPG. With the cruise control on 55MPH, I never approached getting 25MPG even when driving 100% on the highway. I don't believe the above poster, Arturo, is getting even 27MPG with his 1980 models, let alone 29MPG. I consider the 29MPG ridiculous. And no, I didn't have the "turbo option" on my 280ZX that Arturo mentions. Curtis
Never heard of a turbo 700, but a TH700R4 is a 4 speed.
