It has one, It's toward the driver's side under the mass air flow sensor. It's on a mounting bracket along with the ignition module. It has one wiring harness and a coil wire that goes to the optispark distributor underneath the water pump. I know because I own a 1994 Firebird Formula that I'm trying to repair.

The Firebird Formula is one step "below" a Trans Am. At least in appearance. Throughout the years the Formula was made available with all the T/A performance but without the extra spoilers, etc. In many cases, the Formula was actually a fraction faster simply because it didn't carry the extra weight. But to answer your question, yes, you can easily convert it to look like a T/A. Just find a donor car and add the missing spoilers.
