Unknown. Religion or affiliation with any organization is not asked for nor is it needed to run for office or to work for the government. We have freedom of religion and a democracy is secular and there is no religious question or qualifications asked for. This is the true meaning of a democracy.

∙ 7y agoWe do not know the exact number of members of the Muslim Brotherhood members that have worked in past administrations, but there are a number of right-wing think tanks like that Gatestone Institute (whose article on the subject is linked here) that have tried to track the more important Muslim Brotherhood members in the US government.
Contrary to the implicit claim of Fellow Expert Jponbac Gunna, the Muslim Brotherhood is not a religion, but a political organization, so while there is no religious test for government office, being a member of a political organization is certainly something that can be scrutinized at a government level. (For clarity's sake, Islam is a religion and a Muslim is a follower of Islam.)
