One of the Marine aircraft was lost during a training flight in '74 or '75. The remainder flew to the end of the A-6 usage. Note; the Navy gave them the name Academie, those who flew and worked on it never used that name but referred to it as the TC or "the Drut" semi affectionately. The latter name should be spelled backwards to appreciate.
