You do not need Wii Points to connect your Wii Console to the internet. To figure out how to connect your Wii to the internet, go here: http://www.Nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/online.jsp Once you are connected, you can shop the Wii Channel, but you cannot browse the Internet. To do that, you need to buy and install the Internet Channel. First, you will need to have WiiConnect24 enabled. Then you will need Wii Points (also called Nintendo Points). You can only buy Wii Points in 1000 point increments, but the Internet Channel costs 500 points. This is one of the irritations of the medium. I am also told that buying Wii Points on the console is cheaper than at a retail store. If you have extra points you aren't using and know some who can use the, you can Gift the points to them. I'm still figuring all this out, so I'm sorry if the answer is not too detailed.
You can find out on the Wii Shop Channel that you can access if your Wii is connected to the Internet
You have to have wii points to get it
if you do a search for acsess points with the wii then yes u may need to look up what router will work with the wii
Yes. As Wii points are used to buy and download WiiWare/Virtual Console games and downloadable content, you must be connected to the Internet to spend them.
You need several things:You need to setup Wii internet connectivity. You need a Wii points card.Once you have both of these (you may already) go to your Wii shop channel, find Pokemon Rumble, and purchase it.
You can buy it online or if you have a Wii and internet you can download it on your Wii for 1000 points ($10). You need to buy a Wii Points card in order to have any points to spend ($20 at any local video game or electronics store).
it is a one-time fee and 500 wii points is about 5 dollars....

you dont need any wiii points because it costs 0 wii points
You click "Wii shop Channel" then Click "Wii Ware" then Click "Wii Internet" then Click "Download" (The price was recently raised from Free to 500 wii points, you can get these points from shops)
No it does not come with any wii points you need to go to your local game store such as EB games and buy a card with the points.
If you have Internet connection nearby, connect your Wii to the network. Then go to the Wii shop channel and download the Wii Internet channel. It does not cost any Wii points at all and you use the Wii remote as your "computer mouse."
