The front wheels have abs sensors if applicable. The sensors would be mounted to the spindles not the rotors.
Mine is on also and also the brake light, they say the abs speed sensors are bad, I will let you know
depends on the engine if its a 4 cyl there are 2 6 cyl ther are 4. 1 on each cyl bank and before and after the cat converter
You replace the brakes on an ABS S10 the same way you replace brakes on a non ABS S10.
i have a 1998 with a 2.2 and i have 2 O2 sensors on mine one just below the manifold and the other just behind the cat converter hope that helps
get your rotors turned. If it's the ABS turning on or off you might need a new sensor for the wheel. The S-10 ABS had a design flaw and the ABS sensors on the wheel sometimes break.
A 1998 Chevy S10 Blazer has a total of two oxygen sensors. One is used for the upstream and one for the downstream.
There are many in puts to an abs system that will cause the abs light to come on.Wheel speed sensors and broken wires at the wheel speed sensors are common.Other inputs are vehicle speed, brake sytem pressure, abs motor malfunction, internal abs controller malfunction.A quality scan tool is the best way to diagnose abs problems, the system will set codes if the light is coming on.A code reader may be able to point you in the direction of the problem.A scan tool alows you to run certain tests on the components.
What sensors? Be specific.
Assuming this is the 4.3L engine, one.
The oxygen sensors on a 1998 Chevrolet S10 are changed by disconnecting the lead wire and unscrewing them from the exhaust manifold. New sensors are then screwed into place and the wires reattached.
That is the ABS in operation.
