Unfortunately there is no real answer to this question as the humane society and animal rescue groups do not combine their adoption numbers. However, no amount of adoptions will make up for the 3 million cats and dogs that were euthanized last year. Please spay and neuter your pets.
There are about 300 cats and dogs abused in a year! actually more like 1000's
around 750,000
Dogs FTW
Around six to eight million cats and dogs make it to the shelter each year in the United States, yet there are many still roaming the streets. Therefore, more than eight million cats and dogs are abandoned anually.
about 6.2 billion each year... soooo sad:(
i think none get killed by dogs. if they get chased by a dog, they are most likely playing.
There are approximately 250,000 children adopted world wide each year. Of this number, nearly half them are domestic adoptions in the United States.
in a year about 100 but i think a little less or more
There are an estimated 3 to 4 million cats and dogs that are euthanized in the UK each year. Sadly, many of these animals are healthy, but unwanted.
2001
