There are 21 amino acids found in the human body used to synthesize proteins, one of which can not be created directly by the human body. This is called Selenocysteine, and is found in eukaryotes.
There is a 22nd amino acide, Pyrrolysine, which is used by some methanogenic archaea.
There are many others, but these 22 are the only ones essential to life.

There are 20 amino acids
There are no subunits to amino acids others than atoms. Aminos acids are small molecules containing carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and sometimes sulfur. Amino acids are the subunits of polypeptides and a few of these can combine to form proteins.

ACIDS
Aminos, acids, lipids, vitamins.
It means in chemistry, the group -NH2, present in amino acids, amides, and amines.
What organic compounds are found in cells
Protein is made up of long chains of building blocks called amino acids. these amino acids are made of elements carbon, oxygen, hydrogen , nitrogen and sometimes sulfur.

Each have their advantages and disadvantages. Per gram, whey has higher protein content than hemp; however, hemp protein has more fiber and a perfect balance of Omega 3, Omega 6, and Omega 9 fatty acids. The fiber aids digestion and the fatty acids help with blood pressure among other things. Both hemp and whey are high in amino acids. Hemp actually contains all known amino acids and all 8 essential aminos. So, in short, hemp is a great source of protein, aminos, fiber and fatty acids. To say it's "better" than whey would be hard. Whey is also a great source of protein so you need to weigh (no pun intended) what's most important to you.
An amino acid is a monomer that builds proteins. There are currently 21 different amino acids, each with a different name and purpose. During protein synthesis within a cell, amino acids align themselves into long chains, known as polymers. They form peptide bonds between one another and, ultimately, for proteins like hemoglobin.
They form both. For example, the standard alkyls, alcohols, acids, amines, aminos, etc. form covalent bonds, but organometallic compounds, salts of acids and amines, and similar compounds form ionic (although still using covalent bonding for part of thir structure).

How many acids are there
I've been taking aminos for about a month. For a week I've had headaches for weeks and wondered why. I checked my blood pressure and it was up. I never had high blood pressure until I started taking aminos.
