Here is a different answer about animal shelters, over 300,000 animals get abused per year, so I'm guessing a little bit more than that. At lowest 1,000.

∙ 12y agoThey would only get a short amount of time amount in a shelter, depending on how much space the shelter has. If they are lucky, they'll get 7-10 days before euthanasia (putting them to 'sleep'). Solid numbers are really unavailable in ANY area, but please be more specific as to which country you are referring to.
