Hello! There are 3 existing species of vampire bats in the world. All 3 occur in tropical America ONLY - none in SE Asia. And since vampire bats are the only bats that may attack people, there is no way anyone can ever be attacked by a bat in SE Asia. Simple as that! The only way to get bitten by a bat from SE Asia would be to grab one with bare hands. In that case the bat may bite you in self defense. What the bite would look like depends on the bat species inflicting the bite. lars wise.people@live.se
