I don't remember exactly how many bolts there are it's either 6 or 8. There are two on the very top of the bell housing and they are a pain to get to. You have to remove the tranny support bracket so the back end of the transmission will drop down, use a jack to support the end of the tranny and let it down slowly. You will need a long extension (I used one about three feet long) on your ratchet and a swivel socket.
