Everyone needs a different amount of calories, depending on their height,weight and activity level. Well around 1500-2000. It only depends on how active you are maybe a 13 year old need more then 2000.

It depends.

If you are adult height, you may need adult amounts. These are 2000 for girls and 2500 for boys.

If you are very short you would need considerably less than this, maybe around 1400.

I would say however that the average 13 year old would probably need about 1600-1800 calories a day.

Eating considerably less or more than this a day for a sustained period of time can be very dangerous for your long term health.

You will have to do a little math

RMR(Calories you burn just resting):

  • For men: (10 x w) + (6.25 x h) - (5 x a) + 5

  • For women: (10 x w) + (6.25 x h) - (5 x a) - 161

Where: w = weight in kg h = height in cm a = age

You will then have to multiply that number by activity category.
