Using this math you can cut your caloric intake by 500-1000 calories depending on your current intake. So if you cut back 500 calories per day it would take 700 days to loose the 100lbs, however you can increase your activities to burn more calories to shorten the time frame. A good start would be to decrease caloric intake by 500 and start a workout or exercise program that would burn 200 to 300 such as walking for an hour or so each day. After evaluating your progress you can further cut calories or increase activities.
