The first commandment requires the worship of God, none forbid it.
We do not worship Muhammad. God forbid ! We only worship the One God. Muhammad was God's Messenger and Prophet, and His beloved servant. That is all.
Because of the Commandment against making Graven Images of God .
The commandments states " YOU (people) should love GOD Almighty with your whole heart and whole soul". That means we have to worship GOD in all aspects of our lives. Our words, actions, motives, and everything we do should please the Creator. So, as regards how many ways do Christians worship - it is limitless.
The second of the Ten Commandments is not to worship anything other than God.

God Forbid was created in 1996.
The bible has many of gods commandments, but the main are the ten commandments.
Not at all, there is only one God, The God. In the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20), it clearly states do not worship other gods other that the true God.
In the Iglesia Ni Cristo faith, the Ten Commandments are the same as those in the Bible. These commandments include instructions such as to worship only one God, not to worship idols, not to take the name of God in vain, and to honor one's parents. They also include guidelines on ethical behavior like not stealing, not bearing false witness, and not committing adultery.
Worshipping God is all about knowledge, understanding, and actions. John 17: 3 shows the importance of knowledge of the only true God and His Son, that He sent to earth, 2'000 years ago, to redeem the human race from the curse of sin and death and to undo all the damage caused by Satan in the garden of E'den. Read John 3: 16; 1 John 3: 8. It is also very important to become familiar and understand God's purpose for mankind, described in the Book of Psalm 37: 29 in these words. " The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it." 2 Peter 3: 13 has this to say. " But there are new heavens ( a new government ) and a new earth ( a new society of humans ) that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell." To be able to be part of the righteous ones, 2 Peter 3: 14 set the instructions in these words, which is God's recipe. " Therefore, beloved ones, since you are awaiting these things, do your utmost to be found finally by him spotless and unblemished and in peace." 2 Timothy 3: 16,17 shows that the Bible is the letter from God and beneficial for our instruction. Thus, we are not left without help. The Book of James 1: 22,-24 shows the importance of living up to God's requirements. It reads: " However, become doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves with false reasoning. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, this one is like a man looking at his face in a mirror. For he looks at himself, and he goes away and immediately forgets what sort of person he is.
The Ten Commandments contain universal moral codes that can be found in almost all religions. It has been said that they are largely a repetition of the Babylonian Code of Hammurabi and the Hindu Vedas, among others. Where they do differ is in commanding that the Jews have no other god before me [God].
