Africa is the only continent that is located in both the eastern and western hemispheres. The Prime Meridian, which divides the eastern and western hemispheres, passes through Africa.
The Earth is made up of two hemispheres. The eastern hemispheres contains the most land because it consists of 5 of the 7 continents on earth.
The Eastern Hemisphere, or Eastern hemisphere, or eastern hemisphere.
The half of the Earth is called the Eastern hemisphere. It includes Asia, Australia, most parts of Antarctica, Africa, and Europe.
Northern Hemisphere and Eastern Hemisphere
As the Earth is spinning along a slant axis a spiral centrifugal force is responsible which throw the continents of northern hemisphere to the north-east side of the earth and the continents of southern hemisphere to south-east of the earth slowly.Thats why south-western parts of the earths plates are higher than the north eastern parts.
Eastern hemisphere and the Western hemisphere
The earth can be divided into northern and southern hemispheres (with the equator being the dividing line). It can also be divided into eastern and western hemispheres (with North and South America being in the western hemisphere, and the other continents (except for Antarctica) being in the eastern hemisphere.
There are two definitions for what defines the eastern and western hemispheres of the Earth. The proper definition is that the Western Hemisphere includes all points west of the Prime Meridian up to the 180-degree line and the eastern hemisphere includes all points east of the Prime Meridian up to 180-degree line. According to this definition, Morocco is in the western hemisphere because it is west of the Prime Meridian. The looser definition is to consider the Old World Continents: Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia to be the eastern hemisphere and for the New World Continents: North and South America to be the western hemisphere. According to this definition, Morocco is in the eastern hemisphere because it is part of Africa.
If we take the Eastern Hemisphere to be the part of the earth between longitude 0 and the 180th meridian, travelling East, then South America is the only continent to be exclusively in the Western Hemisphere. If we take the International Date Line as the boundary, then both North and South America are entirely in the Western Hemisphere.
Eastern hemisphere.
The continents located entirely in the western hemisphere are North America and South America.
