Because for the last 10 years (from 1999 to 2009) The United States foreign policy under the Bush administration has been essentially very right wing. This means that only countries with the same views on capitalism, free-trade, and the oppression of the poor agreed with these policy's.In my personal opinion though, I'm not even sure if there where any countries even with Right-Wing governments (except for Israel) where the population actually openly said that they 'liked' America. Of course all this has changed with the new Democrat government, who the rest of the world actually seem to quite like.I also disagree that the USA has any political allies in the 'most left-wing countries.' China, Vietnam, North Korea, and Cuba, are most certainly NOT 'political allies' of America, and never have been (apart from Cuba in the 1930's-50's)If by some of the 'most left wing' countries you mean European countries such as UK, Germany, France, Spain, The Netherlands and Belgium - NONE of these would be on the list of the 'most left-wing' countries on the planet.
on the left wing
