You can graze probably around 5 to 10 acres per cow or more around that area because of less vegetation and scrub brush in that state.

How many Black Angus cows should graze on an acre of pasture land?

This is highly dependent on your location, forage quantity and quality, soil type, and terrain. Some areas may have a lower stocking rate than others. For instance, in Nevada, you may be lucky to be able to graze a cow-calf pair on 10 acres of pasture per week. In North Carolina, however, you will more than likely be able to graze a pair on 1 acre of pasture per month.

How many cows graze in deciduous woodland?

There really is no specific number to be had here. It all depends on the size of the woods and the producer (or producers) behind the action to graze such woodlands. If you want numbers, though, anywhere from one to hundreds (sometimes thousands) will be se to graze deciduous woodland at a time. Note that the larger the number, the shorter space of time is allowed for the animals to graze in such an area.
