Approximately one pound of kale yields about 4 cups when chopped. However, this can vary slightly depending on how tightly the kale is packed and whether it's whole leaves or chopped. Typically, one bunch of kale weighs around half a pound, so you might need about 2 bunches to get 4 cups.

A "bunch" of collard greens typically refers to a bundle of leaves tied together, which can vary in weight and size. On average, a bunch of collard greens can yield around 4-6 cups of chopped greens. It's important to note that this measurement can vary depending on the size of the leaves and how tightly they are packed in the bunch.
I bought kale yesterday in the store by mistake. I usually buy her mustard greens. Can I feed her this bunch of kale (along with the collards and squash and minimal fruit she usually gets) and then go back to the mustard greens? I can return the kale to the store and exchange it for the mustard but figured I'd check first. Thanks!
