John F. Kennedy did not serve a complete term, because of his assassination on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. President Kennedy was sworn in as President 12 PM EST January 20,1961. Had he served his entire first term it would have ended at 12 PM EST January 20 1965. However, due to President Kennedy's tremendous popularity he most likely would have won re-election. His second term would have ended at 12 PM EST January 20, 1969.

Answer: Served as President for 2 years 10 months and 2 days.

from January 20,1961 - November 22, 1963.
