∙ 6y agoMississippi requires that students attend school. "Notice: If your child misses TWELVE (12) or more unexcused days of school, you will be in violation of the Mississippi Compulsory School Attendance Laws.
Students are excused from attending if attending court hearings, or are ill. Students with long term illnesses can ask for homebound instruction.
