The Mark VIII was made from 1993-1998 and had one engine, that being the 4.6 V8 dual overhead cam 32 valve. There is a slight difference in horsepwer ratings between the 1997-1998 Mark VIII base car and the LSC model. The extra 10 horsepower was gained by the use of a true dual exhaust being used on the LSC models. This engine is a slightly detuned version of the Mustang cobra engines of the same model years.
