There are 4 that i know of.
The term "hereditary disease" is usually used to refer to diseases which have a high likelihood of being inherited in one's offspring, usually by a predictable probability. For example, if you have Huntington's disease, there is a 50-50 chance that your child will have it. On the other hand, almost all diseases are more probable in the offspring of a person who has them than in the offspring of a person who does not. Thus, a tendency to develop a medical condition can run in families. Such conditions, however, are not usually referred to as hereditary diseases. For example, if you have allergies to pollens, then your children are more likely to develop such allergies, than are the children of your friend who does not have allergies.
Some types of hereditary diseases are 1) Tay-Sachs Disease, 2) Hemophilia, 3) Sickle Cell Disease, 4) Huntington's Disease, and many many more.
By researchiing and looking for information about them. There are many references that can help at the same time there are experts that can answer your questions.
Hereditary diseases are diseases that your parents set you up for by having a mutation in the DNA in either the sperm or the egg cell. You cannot do anything about this, I know it sucks, but sorry. When you get "made" from that DNA, all your cells get that mutation too-so you start getting that hereditary disease.Non-hereditary diseases don't really have anything to do with you inheriting a DNA mutation but they can be caused by a DNA mutation (some cancers). Or, you can get something like cholera from drinking water that's been contaminated with a specific kind of bacteria (from poop/other sources). There are many others like you can get liver "disease" from drinking too much alcohol. You cannot pass on non-hereditary diseases to your children through making them (put if you poo in water that they drink and you have Cholera, they will get Cholera.)I hope this helps you.

hivAbsolutely not, HIV/AIDS is an infectious disease. Some examples of inherited diseases are: tay-sachs, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, downs syndrome, color blindness, certain mental illnesses, etc.
Most direct causes of infertility are not hereditary, however many conditions that are hereditary make make conception difficult.

It has many causes and usually complicated causes. I don't know about the rare causes and diseases ,but the common ones are because of recessive genes like the hereditary diseases that cause over production of Oxalate ,and also the Dent's disease which is X-linked recessive condition.
There are no known actual diseases, it seems that the Vitamin E plays a role in many healthy functions of the body, so it is hard to pick out just one disease, thought it may be related to many as a contributer.
