6-8 million dogs are killed each month from puppy mills/shelters b/c of food and behavior
Way to many
puppy mills produce half a million puppies per year. they are not to big because most dogs in puppy mills die because of cramped spaces.
Dogs in puppy mills usually entertain themselves by running around in circles in their tiny cages. Some dogs just lay in their cage and hope to die. Sound fun?? <<<adopt don't shop>>>
It could save lives of animals. Many animals die because of puppy mills and abuse.
Puppy mills make about 400000 litters a year.www.dogster.com/dog-breeds/puppy-mills-and-backyard-breeders
Female dogs are forced to breed until they die
Considering there are hundreds of puppy mills that we do not even know about there is not exact answer. From what i know i will guess hundres even thousands of puppies & dogs. They are only used for breeding & live in horrible conditions with no vaccines or any medical care. When a dog or a puppie dies they leave it there for days which can also make other dogs sick and equal to more deaths. Hope this helped a bit!
There aren't any. Those poor animals have to suffer and die in terrible conditions. Their feet get stuck in grates and are cut or bitten off by other dogs.
The problem with puppy mills is that greed on the part of the owner causes them to cut corners on the care of the dogs, possibly including not feeding them well. However, not feeding them at all would cause them to die of starvation, which would hurt rather than help profits. So, yes: the dogs do get fed, though often with the minimum amount of the cheapest food possible.
Puppy mills, also known as puppy farms, are awful places where dogs are bred and bred again until they die. They are locked in small wired cages. They have no human companionship, toys or comfort. They are never let out of their cages. They freeze in the winter and swelter in the summer. If you're considering buying a dog, you should find a responsible breeder and visit their premises where they keep their dogs. Do not buy puppies from dog stores. Visit the Humane Society website to learn more about how to stop puppy mills.
3 maybe 5 but the mother may die because so many puppy's and she is just small.i do know small dogs can have about 4-6 puppy's big dogs may have 10 puppys
NO. A puppy mill is where they do not care about the dogs and their health and just raise them for money. They don't care if the dogs are about to die when they sell them.
Dogs/puppies die of neglect, starvation, sometimes their fur is matted with urine and feces, they do not receive proper veterinarian care, they die of parvu, distemper, some have never seen sunlight, never stepped on grass, mothers are kept as breeding machines. Look up puppy mills with ASPCA, USHS, or any animal rescue group. They are after the all mighty dollar. Many will have great web sites, with the dogs dressed up, sitting in flowers or stages poses. Breeders again are after money, if you return them if they are sick , sometimes they are killed or end up being euthanized in shelters, this can also be done by gassing (very inhumane).
