Earthquakes IN the water? No. Earthquakes UNDER the water, yes - underwater earthquakes cause most of the Tsunamis, including the one that hit Indonesia a couple of years ago. Yes There are earthquakes under the water; many of them start there.

Japan. It has a lot of earthquakes, and is one of the most affected areas in the world. Because of their technology level (compared to countries like Indonesia and Fiji), Japan is the country with the most earthquakes reported each year. Though, that doesn't mean it's the country with the most earthquakes. But it certainly has more earthquakes than California.

No there aren't tornadoes in Jakarta but, there are earthquakes. They are very rare but do happen.- me and my family were in one when we lived there!!! It is close to many places with active volcanos- and has a few on the outskirts of Jakarta but eruptions are not that common.
