Peahens lay eggs in the spring. They will fill the nest, one egg per day, until there are 6-10 eggs. If she goes broody, she will maintain a nice nest and start sitting after she has her desired number of eggs. If she does not go broody, or the eggs are removed daily, then she might continue to lay eggs for an entire month. When she stops, that's it until next spring.

Just one at a time (usually one a day). However, over a number of days the pheasant will continue to lay to form a "clutch". When the clutch is complete (normally 3-10 eggs) she will then start to incubate them.

Do peahen lay eggs like chichens?

Not really. They are eggs, but unlike chickens who may lay daily for up to two years. Peahens usually begin laying eggs in April and will lay eggs every second day until a clutch of 7 to 10 eggs are collected. The eggs are light brown in color and are similar in size to turkey eggs. If eggs are collected from the nest for artificial incubation, a peahen can lay as many as 30 eggs.
