2 valence electrons for helium (helium has only 1 shell)
Helium (He) and Calcium (Ca) both have 2 valence electrons.

2 valence electrons
2.You are in terrible need of a periodic table. It's really not that difficult, and it's well worth learning.
8 electrons (except for helium which has 2)
There are 8 electrons in the outer level of all the noble gases except helium. This full outer level gives them stability and makes them less reactive. Helium, as a noble gas, has only 2 electrons in its outer level.
2 electrons in the only shell helium has.
Nitrogen has five electrons in its outer shell and bromine has seven in its outer shell.
Vanadium has on the outer shell two electrons.
Boron has three electrons in its outer shell
Noble gasses have eight electrons in their outher shell(exept Helium, Helium has two.), so the outher shell is fully saturated and have thus no electrical charche so they can't react with each other(there are some exeptions like Fluor, this is because F has the highest electronegativety of all elements.
