you should have three belts total. Going from the fan towards the distributer the first belt should be the Power Steering, then the actual fan belt, then the third belt is the alternator / a/c belt, i hope this is helpful for you! So for the answer to your question, there is one fan belt, the second belt in from the fan!

On a 97 with the supercharged 3.8L the power steering pump is not mounted on the same bracket as the alternator. The Alternator bracket includes the belt tension arm and has two water lines running through it but the power steering pump is mounted below it on the back of the engine. Why are you pulling the pump?

They are the same engine with exception of the exhaust manifolds, ignition system (i.e. distributor & coil), alternator, power steering pump (different fiitting for the pressure side). And the flexplate for the transmission is totally different because of the transmission...

Probably on the pump itself. From the left side of the car look down below the alternator by the firewall.
Ajustment bolt is located at the bottom of power steering pump.
on the 3.8,s it is right behind the alternator but you have to look way down underneth ( so between the alternator and the firewall but down under) you will see the cap to fill it and you probally will need a long funnel
