Naruto Uzumaki has used the Rasengan numerous times throughout the "Naruto" series, but an exact count is difficult to determine due to the various forms and adaptations of the technique. He first used it in "Naruto" during his battle against Kakashi and later incorporated it into many fights, including against major adversaries. Additionally, he developed several variations, such as the Rasenshuriken, which further expands its usage. Overall, the Rasengan is a signature move for Naruto, appearing frequently throughout both the original series and "Naruto: Shippuden."
No he almost died against Deidara, Itachi, Killer Bee, The Five Kage, and Danzo but never actually died. He's cut it close many times though.

At this stage, not many people don't know, although most people in Naruto's generation weren't told anything beyond being led to believe that Naruto was bad news. Sakura and Sasuke know though, Sakura after being told and Sasuke after seeing it in Naruto's mind. People older than them know though, and as such most of the adult villagers shunned Naruto. The children only followed their parents' examples.
