Well if that is the chemical formula for the product, then you have 12 Carbon atoms, 22 Hydrogen atoms and 11 Oxygen atoms. So therefore there are 22 Hydrogen atoms :) I would double check this though before you do it

How many hydrogen atoms are in a sugar molecule?

There are 22 atoms of hydrogen, 12 atoms of carbon, and 11 atoms of oxygen.

How many hydrogen atoms are in one molecule of sugar?

That depends on what kind of sugar you're talking about. Table sugar, or sucrose, has the formula C12H22O11. One molecule of sucrose has 22 hydrogen atoms. Blood sugar, or glucose, has the formula C6H12O6. One molecule of glucose has 12 hydrogen atoms. Other types of sugar have different formulas. If you know the chemical formula, look at the subscript to the right of the H to see how many hydrogen atoms are in one molecule of sugar.

What is a Molecule that contains hydrogen carbon and oxygen atoms?

Sugar

A molecule of C12H22O11 contains?

A molecule of C12H22O11 contains 12 carbon atoms, 22 hydrogen atoms, and 11 oxygen atoms. This molecule represents a type of carbohydrate known as sucrose or table sugar.

How many times is carbon oxygen and hydrogen in sugar?

Table sugar - sucrose - contains 12 carbon atoms, 22 hydrogen atoms, and 11 oxygen atoms per molecule. Other sugars have different formulae.

What are the three main elements in suger?

Sugar is a molecule composed of 12 atoms of carbon, 22 atoms of hydrogen, and 11 atoms of oxygen.

Is Sugar is an organic molecule because it contains?

Sugar is an organic molecule because it contains carbon atoms. More rigorously, it contains carbon-hydrogen bonds.

How many atoms make up a single molecule in sugar?

The chemical formula of table sugar (sucrose in English language) is:C12H22O11; consequently the sugar molecule contain 12 atoms of carbon, 22 atoms of hydrogen and 11 atoms of oxygen.

How many atoms of hydrogen make up sugar?

In table sugar (C12H22O11) there are 22 hydrogens in this disacharide. In monosacharides ther are normally 12 H's (C6H12O6)

A molecule is said to be organic if it contains?

An organic molecule is a molecule and that contains carbon atoms that are connected to hydrogen, oxygen or nitrogen atoms. Glucose has carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms so it is organic.

How many atom contains in sugar?

It depends on the sugar. The monosaccharides glucose, fructose, and galactose have the molecular formula C6H12O6, and therefore have 6 carbon atoms, 12 hydrogen atoms, and 6 oxygen atoms per molecule. The disaccharides sucrose and maltose have the molecular formula C12H22O11, and therefore have 12 carbon atoms, 22 hydrogen atoms, and 11 oxygen atoms per molecules.

How many hydrogen atoms are in one molecule of the compound C12H22O11?

The suffix behind O (oxygen) denote the number of atoms in the chemical compound. From the question C12H22O11is the molecular formula, it contain 12 carbon atom, 22 hydrogen atom and 11 oxygen atom.
