it usually says on the back, but dark (healthy due to nutrients) range from 570 to 600 kcal per 100g, and milk chocolate ( all sugar and fats) 500 to 530 usually. In Plain chocolate there are about 2210 kilojoules in 100g of chocolate and 1110 in 50g.
it means that the chocolate bar you are eating is not all dark chocolate. if the candy bar was pretty cheap then that's probably why. if you get an expensive candy bar it will probably say 100% dark chocolate. in conclusion the chocolate bar is partly another type of chocolate.
