The First train leave London at 5.25am Monday to Friday and the last train at 20h05. From 5h25am, trains will leave on average every half an hour, for destinations either Paris or Brussels. (the are more trains for Paris than Brussels) Eurostar offers 17 weekday London-Paris services (19 on Fridays) including 7 non-stop, and 10 London-Brussels trains including 3 non-stop. On Saturday, the last train from London is at 20h35 (it is often a "party train" full of people going clubbing to Paris overnight. They will be on board the first train on Sunday Morning :) )
Eurostar leaves London St Pancras and serves Paris, Lille and Brussels via the Channel Tunnel. There are also trains to the French Alps and Avignon.
According to the destinations tab in the FAQ on the Eurostar webpage, it says you can go to Brussels, Lille, Paris, Avignon, and The French Alps.
The distance (according to Google Maps) is just 18.7 km - taking approximately 22 minutes to drive.
If your're talking about the TGV-TMST, incorrectly known as the "Eurostar" (but the name sounds a lot cooler!), this will give you the figures per company:SNCB (Belgium) : 4SNCF (France) : 16EUKL (England) : 11 + 7 trainset North of Londonthat sums up to 38 trainsets, but not all of them are used as "Eurostar" anymore. The British Railways use 7 of them as internal commuters, and the French have 3 trainsets they use as regular "TGV".So one can say only 28 of them are Eurostar.
Approximate distance in miles from Bonn to Brussels is 118 miles or 190 Kilometers
The Eurostar train takes just over two hours.
As of 2004 or 2005, the majority has shifted from air travel to the Eurostar. Business commuters, especially, have been pleased with the convenience and speed of the train. The trend towards Eurostar continues with nearly twice as many passengers from in and around London using it compared with flights. The advantage of Eurostar is that it goes from the centre of London to the centre of Paris and vice versa - and there is no checking in and less security. Both can be expensive but the trick is to book well in advance if you can. I regularly use Eurostar to go to Paris to update my Paris city guide and my mp3 tour of Paris and its most famous sites.
A full Eurostar train can carry around 900 passengers.
