well, the price of the parts are cheap. the labor is the problem, its around 8-10hrs of labor, so you're looking at around 500-700 dollars.
the interior (as far as the dash) has to be completely torn out. Mine went out and to have it replaced (parts and labor) was like $900.

it depends on the shop but it takes 6.3 hours
hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it can take anywhere from 2 to 5 hours all depends on if you know what your doing. oh and don't waste your time getting a haynes for it, trust me it has everything there is to know about your car except for a heater core.
It's at least 2 hours of labor.
