I actually would suggest just trying high quality hay first, maybe mix in a little alfalfa hay. Based on your horses weight you should be feeding 22 pounds of feed daily. If the hay doesn't work on it's own you can add up to 5 pounds of 'grain' a day. I recommend a concentrate made to put on weight such as those high in fat. Again if that doesn't work you can add corn oil ( up to 2 cups daily) to the grain ration or a weight building supplement. Always ask your Veterinarian first though as some horses may become sick from over supplementing.
