Depends on your tolerance. But be careful for the Tylenol in it, which can cause a very long, very slow, very painful death over the course of a few weeks. I take percoset regularly and I have a high tolerance. More then 3, 5/325mg tablets makes me nauseous. You should take no more then 2 every 4 hours and never exceed more then 12 every 24 hours.

Do not take more than prescribed, because Vicodin contains acetaminophen, and even small overdosages of acetaminophen have been shown to cause liver damage.
